How to measure dress length from shoulder. Measure around the fullest part of your neck, but don’t measure too tightly—a finger or two should fit between the measuring tape and your neck. Measure from your natural waist to the dress hem. Start the end of the tape on the outside edge of the shoulder where you want the yoke of the shirt to start.
